James Clayton Culotta, Esq.

Mr. Culotta’s practice focuses on complex civil litigation, business crimes, health care law and litigation, along with internal investigations and compliance matters. Mr. Culotta represents corporations, individuals and health care providers in regulatory, compliance, and governmental relations matters.

Relevant Experience and Representative Matters:

Mr. Culotta has extensive experience in representing both individuals and health care providers in civil, criminal and regulatory matters surrounding heath care licensure law, peer review, Civil Rights claims, Qui Tam (Citizen suits) matters and civil RICO.

Mr. Culotta has assisted clients in developing and implementing corporate compliance programs to be pro-active in their compliance responsibilities.

He has been involved in precedent setting litigation involving Peer Review and the National Practitioner Data Bank.

While an Assistant Attorney General, he was lead counsel working on a Federal Grant to investigate and prosecute drug offenders for the entire State of Louisiana.
